That was chilling...thanks for posting that, TA....

I'm just holding my breadth for the next 4 years, I think we are in for some bad sh*t.....expect a gun grab real soon...

An even scarier thought....because of the gun registration laws, they know exactly who to go after if a gun-grab is executed....all the records are there for the taking.....

It may come to this.

I dont care....

For the greater portion of my life......... I have minded my business, tried to be helpful where possible and pursue things within the letter of law because That is how my Parents brought me up.

But Now I see The laws are on the books for 2 reasons: To generate Revenue 2)To dominate those who refuse to assert their freedom.

I dont give a Rat @$$ what they say, what they know, or what they do.... When the "lawful order" is given to disarm .... I WILL NOT COMPLY AND LET THE PIECES FALL WHERE THEY MAY.

You have registration laws up there? My condolences. There has never been a case where registration hasn't evolved into confiscation. No registration in the South, anywhere that I'm aware of.

I try to do the right thing and pay the price quite often.

Before the election I heard all the whining about Obama is going to take your guns.

My reply, was only if you give them to him.

As I've seen in one of the pics you posted the can have them... bullets first.

No registration here. And then I sold mines to some guy at a gun show for cash.

Not even close to what a real registration scheme would entail.

Your 4473 stays with the dealer. It provides a chain if that particular weapon gets investigated but that's a lot different than a file with your name and a list of everything you currently own by serial number.

I've bought a lot of guns over the years and filled out 4473's. That doesn't mean I still own any of those guns. I may very well have sold them all over the years. Or they may have been lost in a fire or fell out of my boat into the lake. And any guns I bought via private sale are "off the books" of course. Guns which I may or may not still own.

A 4473 just shows where the gun was sold from a dealer. After that there is no tracking. This private sale issue is exactly why politicians like to complain about the "gun show loophole." Conveniently ignoring the fact that private sales of guns can happen anywhere, not just at gunshows. And ignoring the fact that nearly all private property can be sold from citizen to citizen without notifying the government of said sale and providing serial numbers and new ownership stats.

If we ever get to that point, you can say we have registration. If I want to sell my neighbor a single shot .22 rifle and we have to go down to the local dealer and fill out paperwork which then gets sent to the Feds, then we will have real tracking and registration. We are a very long way from that. (At least in most of the states!!!)

There has been a 4473 on almost every gun I've ever purchased. I have also privately re-sold almost every gun I have ever purchased. The 4473 will mean nothing until the private sale of firearms is prohibited. Private sales is the real "gun show loophole" that the traitors are coming after. Once private sales are made illegal, the 4473 might as well be a form 3, ie.. you will be accountable. Hint: sell them while you can! Bx3
